Please note Rules Governing the Perth Fair and Horse Show Rules. They apply to all classes. Please read them carefully.

***NOTE*** All stalls must be cleaned out when leaving or a $20.00 clean out fee will be applied.

PRIZE MONEY 
Regular Classes: 1st $30.00, 2nd $20.00, 3rd $15.00, 4th $10.00, 5th and all others $6.00
Stake Classes: 1st $90.00, 2nd $70.00, 3rd $50.00, 4th $30.00, 5th and all others $20.00

40. Hackney Jr. Driver - Horse or Pony

Driven by a Jr. Exhibitor. Open to all registered Hackney (mare or gelding) - suitable to be driven by Junior.

To be shown to a suitable four-wheeled vehicle. To have long mane and tail, or braided mane and short tail. To be driven by a Junior who has not reached their 18th birthday as of January 1 of the current year. Exhibitor or member of their immediate family must be a member of the Canadian Hackney Society. To be judged on manners, quality and performance of the animal and the driver’s ability,50% for the driver’s ability and 50% for the suitability of the animal. Cross entries permitted.

1.  Hackney Jr. Exhibitor

Horse or Pony

Shown in hand by junior exhibitor. Open to all registered Hackney (mares or geldings). To have long mane & tail, or braided mane & short tail. Open to Juniors who have not reached their 18th birthday by January 1st of the current year. Exhibitor or member of their immediate family must be a member of the Canadian Hackney Society. To be judged on manners, quality and performance of the animal and the handler’s ability, 50% for the handler’s ability and 50%for the suitability of the animal. Cross entries permitted.

23. Lead Line Class

Eligible to children 3 yrs and over

Handler & rider must be in proper attire. To be judged at a walk only. Rider must be able to sit in the saddle and hold reins without handler’s help. Horses or ponies. Children who show in this class are not eligible to compete in any other class
