How to Enter Tag Classes

  1. Pick the classes you want to enter. It is best to order a tag for every class you think you might enter. You must have a tag for each exhibit. If you do not use them all, that’s okay.

  2. To enter, register online at https://www.assistexpo.ca/perthfair or fill in the entry form at https://www.perthfair.com/entry-forms and submit it in person or by email. Please fill in all information requested, including birthdate if under 18 years of age.

  3. The office is open Monday to Friday during August and is located in the AGRICON building on the fairgrounds. Should the office be closed, please leave them in the mail slot in the door.

  4. When we receive your entry form it will be entered on a first in, first entered basis and your TAGS will be printed within two working days, starting August 1st.

  5. Tags must be picked up at the office BEFORE 4 pm, Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026.

  6. Due to space constraints all information may not be printed on tags - the 2026 Prize List has the full requirements and are the rules that must be followed to qualify for prizes.

  7. Bring your exhibit with the tag attached to the Homecraft Building or Lindsay Campbell Barn on Wednesday, Sept 2nd, 2026 between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. unless otherwise stated.

  8. Judging will take place Thursday, September 3rd, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. unless otherwise stated.

  9. Please pick up your entries Sunday September 6th, 2026 between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Entries not picked up at this time will be composted.

  10. For Junior entries, please pick up your entry items between September 7th and September 30th at the Fair Office. Entries not picked up AFTER September 30th will be composted.

  11. For winning entries, prize money will be mailed to you after the fair. Please indicate on the entry form if you wish the cheque to be addressed to someone other than the exhibitor (i.e., parent instead of child's name).
