How to Enter Tag Classes

  1. Pick the class and sections you want to enter. It is best to order a tag for every section you think you might enter. If you do not use them all, that’s okay.

  2. Fill in the Online Entry Form through Perth Fair or paper entry form located under Entry Forms with all the information requested.

  3. Submit your entry form either online through HERE, or in person, by mail, fax or email before August 31st.

  4. The office is open Monday to Friday during August and is located in the AGRICON building on the fairgrounds. Should the office be closed please leave them in the mail slot in the door.

  5. When we receive your entry form it will be entered on a first in, first entered basis and your TAGS will be printed within two working days.

  6. Tags must be picked up at the office.

  7. You must have a tag for each exhibit. This identifies you with your entry and allows us to compile results and mail out prize money efficiently - they are very important.

  8. Due to space constraints all information may not be printed on tags - the 2023 Fair Book has the full requirements and are the rules that must be followed to qualify for prizes.

  9. Bring your exhibit with the tag attached to the Homecraft Building or Lindsay Campbell Barn on Thursday, August 31st between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. only.

  10. Where S.M.A. or S.Y.A is specified you must attach a small piece of material or yarn used to create the article -a sample of each material or yarn is required.

  11. In sponsored classes when “attach recipes” is specified you must attach your recipe to your tag to qualify for the prize offered. The recipes are sent to the sponsor.

  12. Judging will take place Friday September 1st, 9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m., unless otherwise stated.

  13. You must pick up your entry Monday September 4th between 4:00pm and 5:30pm.

  14. For winning entries, a cheque will be mailed to you after the fair.
