Information: Frances Somerville

All exhibits in this class must be in place between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday September 2nd in the Homecraft Building ready for judging. The producer’s name must not appear on exhibits until after judging. No Commercial Advertising on containers. Exhibits in classes 1, 2 and 3 shall consist of one 375ml unmarked glass jars of honey. Jars are available from Fair office. One entry per section per exhibitor allowed.

Exhibits for Classes 1, 2 and 3 will be displayed in 1(one) 375ml unmarked glass jar. Jars are available at the Fair office.

Exhibit 6 must be shown according to specification of container size – 250 ml jar​

Winner of LIQUID HONEY - ONTARIO #1 WHITE agrees to compete at the District 2 level Annual meeting in November 2026. The winner from our district competes at the OAAS convention in Toronto in February 2027.

1. Pure, Ontario #1 honey - white

             1 (one) 375 ml Jar

              Winner of Best of Show (Pure, Ontario #1, White Honey) agrees to compete at the annual District level in November 2026.             1 (one) 375 ml Jar

3. Pure, Ontario #1 honey - amber

            1 (one) 375 ml Jar

4.  Comb honey

            1 Block 3" x 4" (in container)

5. Beeswax

            1 Block approx. 1 lb.

6.  Creamed honey - pure-Ontario #1

            1 (One) - 250 ml jar

7.  A gift basket product

             A basket of Honey products you made with the theme "Farm to Fork"

8. Any honey product - pure Ontario #1

             That you have made that is unable to be entered in any of the above classes

 

JUNIOR (aged 15 years and younger):

9. Honey - pure Ontario #1

             1 (one) 375 ml jar from any class
