CLASS 6000

1. This class of finished steers or heifers will be judged Saturday, September 4, 2010.

2. All entries regardless of the breed will be shown together and must weigh 950 pounds.

3. Buyers pay only for first 1200 lbs.

4. Steers or heifers will be weighed at 4:00p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2010.

5. Entries limited to two per family and must be housed within Lanark County or a 45 km radius of Perth.

6. There are no bid-ins allowed. The top TEN steers &/or heifers must sell @ the auction sale located in the cattle barn arena, Sat. September 4, 2010 starting at 6:00 p.m. The top 3 champion 4- H market lambs will be sold at the start of the auction.

7. The Society will retain 7% of the selling price - 6% to cover the expenses, 1% to be donated to a local charity to be chosen by the exhibitors.

8. All entries subject to periodic checks during the summer.

9. Animals deemed a safety hazard by the committee will not be permitted to be shown and/or sold.
